These terms govern your use of Fed., a family meal planning and grocery application operated by Mahoric AI Inc. By using Fed., you agree to these terms.
Adult use and accounts
Fed. is designed for parents and adult caregivers. You must be legally able to agree to these terms and are responsible for activity on your account. Fed. creates an anonymous account on first launch and lets you optionally link Sign in with Apple for recovery and household invitations.
The service
Fed. provides recipe browsing, custom recipes, meal planning, grocery-list organization, shared households, child-profile filtering, and AI-assisted recipe selection. Features may change as the service improves.
Subscriptions
A subscription is required after onboarding to access paid features. The App Store purchase screen and paywall show the current price, billing period, included access, trial terms when offered, and renewal details before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account before renewal. Restore Purchases is available in Fed.
Apple processes payment, cancellation, and refund requests. Deleting your Fed. account does not cancel your Apple subscription. One active subscription may provide access to the subscriber's Fed. household, but this is separate from Apple's Family Sharing program.
Food, allergy, and AI safety
Fed. is a planning aid, not medical, allergy, or nutrition advice. Recipes, ingredient data, dietary filters, and AI-selected suggestions may contain errors or may not account for product substitutions, manufacturing changes, cross-contact, or individual medical needs. You are responsible for checking ingredient labels and deciding whether any food is safe and appropriate for your household. Consult a qualified professional when needed.
Your content
You retain ownership of family profiles, plans, lists, custom recipes, and photos you submit. You give Mahoric AI Inc. a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and secure Fed. and make it available to your household. You are responsible for having the right to upload your content and for ensuring it is lawful and appropriate.
Households
Invite codes allow another adult to join your household. You are responsible for the people you invite and the information shared with them. Household content may remain with other adult members if you leave or delete your individual account. A household owner may need to transfer ownership or delete the entire family before deleting an account.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Fed., interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits, upload unlawful or infringing content, bypass subscription controls, or abuse AI and invitation features. We may rate-limit, restrict, or suspend activity that threatens users or the service.
Mahoric AI content
Fed., its visual design, software, curated recipe catalog, branding, and other content supplied by Mahoric AI Inc. are owned by Mahoric AI Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Third-party services
Fed. relies on services provided by Apple, Convex, Superwall, and OpenAI. Their own terms and policies may apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Availability and termination
We work to keep Fed. available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may suspend access for a material violation of these terms. You can stop using Fed. and initiate account deletion from Settings at any time.
Disclaimers and limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fed. is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Mahoric AI Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Fed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Fed. changes. The effective date above will be revised when updated terms are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
